Splendide White is a robust, upright, clump-forming perennial, growing to 1.75m tall, with divided leaves made up of green, oblong leaflets. Airy clouds of white, nodding flowers, with prominent stamens, are held on tall, upright stems above the foliage in summer
 
Grow in moist, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. May need staking but in this instance worth any effort;the plant is the very epitome of delicacy and grace.
