Pure Gold is a vigorous rhizomatous perennial grass especially bright in spring, forming an extensive colony of erect stems, bearing narrow golden leaves and narrow pale green flowering panicles in summer.Excellent setting off early summer flowers starting with late tulips.
Grow in any soil in full sun or partial shade. Can also grow under water in a pond. Remove dead winter stems and also cut down once or even twice in summer if a fresh foliage crop is wanted; colour is brightest in spring later it tends towards lime green.
