Ajuga reptans 'Chocolate Chip' is a creeping perennial with chocolate brown leaves and an extremely dwarf habit. Spikes of blue-purple flowers bloom in spring.
Best grown in partial shade to prevent leaves scorching, also grows well in shade. Will grow in any soil as long as there is some moisture.
Works well grown on banks and slopes, in containers and as part of a garden border. No pruning required and generally pest free.

Height: 5-10cm flowers up to 30cm
Spread: 15-25cm in 2-5 years
